The interior of this Venetian apartment is characterised by the use of the materials of the city, underlining three main aspects: the decadent appearance of the cor-ten steel reminds us of the railings and the details corroded by the salt; the noble spirit through the use of marmorino for the finishing of the internal walls; and that which is hidden, on which the whole city is founded – the use of wood, as wood is the basis of the whole urban structure of the Venice Lagoon.
